It's time to say goodbye and there's no better way to do so than dancing and having fun. This is why we have prepared this incredible performance!

In a few days we will finish school and we will be enjoying our holidays and charging our batteries for the next year!

Why do we love music?

Because it says what we feel, it understands us. It doesn't mind what kind of music we listen to, it's our music, it's our lives.

Music can motivate us, can make us smile, laugh or cry.

There're songs that are soooooooooo beautiful that you listen to them and you can remember moments, people or things.

We love music!!! It's one of the best things that we have in this world.

Hi! I've done a survey about music to 10 of my friends; I only asked two questions, so here we go: Who is your favourite singer?

Most of them didn't know who is their favorite singer, because they listen to so many singers and they couldn't choose. One of them said that Steven Tyler (from Aerosmith) has the world's best voice, but the person who said that her favourite singer is Freddie Mercury (from Queen) said the same, so you can decide it. Then, I have to say that I never heard about Boyce Avenue, but he's one of my friend's favourite!

The majority of them want to learn playing guitar, and it is followed by the piano ( I want to learn playing piano too, but I didn't do the survey). Then, the harmonica and the clarinet have surpristed me, I didn't think about them until those friends told me that they wanted to play them.

THE HUNGER GAMES

Hi! we are Ainhoa, Irati, Julia, Beñat we are going to write about Suzanne Collins' first book of the world's best trilogy.

In the future, in north America, there will be some wars, those wars, will separate north America in 13 districts and the capitol city. .The people from districts will be poor and every day people will die because they won´t have anything to eat. But in the capitol city, where the people who won the war live, they have a lot of food, they are rich, and they don't work because they take everything from the districts. The people from the districts will do a strike and they will lose, and the hunger games will be created to remind the people from the districts that the capitol city is stronger than them. Those games will consist on chosing two children from 12-18 years old from each district togo to a giant stadium where they have to kill the other tributs ( the people chosen from the districts ) to survive. The one who survives will win the games. Katniss Everdeen is a girl from the 12th district. She will have to play the 74th hunger games and she will try to survive by killing all the other tributs.

+Hello, Miss. Swan, sit down, please. So, you were at school when the graffiti was painted, weren't you?

—Yes, I was at school, but I saw it all.

+It's OK, if you know who sprayed it, tell us.

—I don't know their names, they aren't studying at my school now, but they probably studied there.

+How old were they, more or less?

—One was about 20, and the other, about 25.

+OK, what were they like?

—The youngest was the tallest too, and he had curly, fair hair and a tattoo on his leg.

+Do you know what was in the tattoo?

—Yes, the tattoo was a red heart with a name, but I couldn't see what name was it.

+It's alright. And the oldest?

—He was a bit shorter thanbthe first. He had short, smooth, dark hair and I could see his beautiful, green eyes. +Was he beautiful, Miss. Swan?

—Oh, yes! He was! He was so well-built too.

+OK, don't fallin love, he's a criminal.

—(Looks the watch) Oops, it's too late, I've got to go, bye!

+Goodbye, and thanks for the information.

—Not at all. ... After the interrogation, Miss. Swan arrives to Gale's house.

—Hi, Gale, what's going on?

—It was quite easy. They will never know that they were you, I've confused them.

•What did you say?

Police: What time were you in the montain?

Mike: It was about nine o'clock in the morning, I was walking when I saw a man killing another man

Police: What did you see?

Mike: I saw the two men pushing each other and one of them took an arm and shot the other man

Police: What did he look like?

Mike: The murderer was very tall and he was wearing a very old T-shirt and trousers.

Police: Where there more people?

Mike: Yes, there were other people, but I didn't see them, because he was in the car, ah!, the car was very new, it was a big,dark Land-Rover. And the registration number was 1765 W H W

Kelly Slater was born in Cocoa beach, Florida in 1972.

He's a professional surfer, because he won ASP world championship 11 times. He has been the youngest surfer and the oldest surfer winning this championship. He won it in 1992, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2011. 

His sponsors are Quicksilver, boots mobile and CI surfboards. Since 1990, his principal sponsor has been Quicksilver.

 Last year he won Hurley pro trestles in USA, Billabong pro teahupoo in Tahiti and Quicksilver pro gold coast in Australia.

MATTIN'S BIRTHDAY!!!

Last Monday Mattin brought a delicious cake (cooked by himself) to class in order to celebrate his birthday!!!

It was a great surprise because it was the first day of school after Easter holidays and we were feeling a little bit under the weather... ;) So, Mattin's cake cheered us up! Great!

Tamara also brought one on her birthday so it seems that bringing a home-made cake is becoming a tradition in Manteo! And, by the way, it would be an amazing tradition!

We are looking forward to celebrating the next birthday! haha ;P

He's a famous tv and films actor and he's 54 years old.
His parents are Charles and Lee-Lee Chan.
Jackie Chan has been acting since the 1960s and has appeared in over 100 films. Chan has received stars on Hong Kong avenue of stars and the Hollywood walk of fame. As a cultural icon, Chan has been referenced in various pop songs, cartoons, and video games.

Easter eggs are specially decorated eggs that are given out to celebrate the Easter holiday.

Real Sociedad is a football team from Donostia-San Sebastian.

Real Sociedad is a very good team, they have very good players, like Griezmann, De la Bella, Bravo...

but they also have other players, such as Nihat or Riesgo.

Real Sociedad stadium is Anoeta and it's in Amara.

Real Sociedad has won two leagues and this year Real Sociedad is in the 15th positon.

Real Sociedad has two equipments: the first one with a white and blue t-shirt and white short and the second one with a yellow t-shirt and the black shots.

Real Sociedad is better than Atheltic.

MUSIC IS THE POETRY OF THE AIR

Hi students!

How are you doing? It's almost Friday so you should be happy! 

A few days ago Amaia and Minerva asked me to listen to a song they love, "4 chords axis of awesome" and I have to say it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever listened to. Thank you very much girls! 

I imagine all of you know the song, but, just in case, here you are the video... You'll love it!

Music frees our minds and makes us dream and that's why we should listen to music every day. Moreover, as there are loads of songs in English you can learn a lot of vocabulary and pronunciation by listening to them, by reading their lyrics and so on. 

Besides, I must say you all have nice voices, and here you are the vid of 2.B singing "Barbie Girl" to prove it right! I hope you like it!

Hi!

I'm Julia. I'm going to speak about the future.

I think the world will be very different. I think the world's population will be bigger. People will live under the sea, at some strange houses. Children won't go to school, I think they will study at home, with computers.I think life will be happier. 

The transport will be different too. I think people will travel by buses and mini-submarines.The streets won't exist, there will be tunnels under the sea, and people will walk inside them.

They won't pollute the environment because they will recycle everything.

The weather won´t be hotter because the global warming will dissapear.

OUR FUTURE

I think that the world's population will be bigger, and that will be a problem because if we don't protect the enviroment we won't have any water or rainforest. The weather will be hotter because CO2 is destroying the ozono layer.

Schools will exist because it doesn't matter what they say about studying with computers, schools are built to disturb us, so they won't dissapear.

Transport will be a problem if we don't stop inventing new cars. They want people to use the bus, but then they sell new cars.

The spacbe will be our new victim. we will destroy the Earth and then we'll go to the space to destroy another planet, that will be a disaster! We'll destroy all the space until all the spaces die.

We are building a new future to destroy it!

What do you think?

We are doing future plans for the world to be better, while we destroy the present. Why don't protect the world now and forever? 

This is my prediction about change:

If we change now, we won't destroy the future.

So, start the change with little things because 1+1 is 2, but the world + you is millions of

people protecting life. How can we protect the future if we don't protect the present?

Hi students!

How are you doing? Are you enjoying the holidays? And the Carnival? Have you dressed up?

I guess so because some of you told me about your costumes before the holidays. 

As for me, I dressed up as a cat on Saturday. You know I love animals so on Saturday I felt like one of them!!!

Valentine's Day

We like Valentine's Day a lot, why? We don't know but we spend time with people we love and we have fun.

When we go outside, we see in shops a lot of decorations of this day. All the shops are decorated in red and some pink too! Also the flower shops are decorated and they sell a lot of roses: red, white and pink roses (they are so cute!) 

In our city not everybody enjoys this celebration, they reckon that's an american stupid celebration, some people also think that's a comercial celebration that the americans do to make money.

But, we love it!
